"Regional Hydrogen Valleys" Workshop at Key Energy 2025: Challenges and Opportunities for the Energy Transition

On March 5, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, the "Regional Hydrogen Valleys" workshop, organized by CTN Energia and ART-ER, will be held at the Hydrogen Arena (Hall B3) in the Rimini Expo Area. The workshop will be moderated by the National Energy Technology District (Di.TNE). This event is part of Key Energy 2025 and represents an important opportunity to discuss the role of Hydrogen Valleys in sustainable territorial development and the Italian energy transition.

Workshop objectives and topics

The meeting aims to explore strategies for launching and developing Hydrogen Valleys, exploring the current state of regional green hydrogen supply chains and opportunities for collaboration between businesses and institutional stakeholders. Through an interactive discussion, the strengths and weaknesses of each project will be analyzed, highlighting potential synergies at the national level.

The workshop will analyze the operational challenges and solutions for promoting the growth of Hydrogen Valleys, focusing on the tools needed for their effective implementation within local territorial systems. It will be a unique opportunity for stakeholders to discuss key issues for Italy's energy transition.

  • Intervention by Stefania Crotta, Director General of Programs and Financial Incentives of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security (MASE), on the role of Hydrogen Valleys in the national energy transition.
  • Moderation by Marco Manchisi, President of the Di.TNE Steering Committee
