The Di.T.N.E.

The National Technological Energy District (DiTNE) is a limited liability consortium company, established on August 1, 2008, to foster scientific relationships and collaborations between the research and industrial sectors in the fields of energy and the environment, and to promote the qualitative and quantitative growth of expertise and the entrepreneurial system.

Board of Directors and Board of Statutory Auditors

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of DiTNE, currently in office, was appointed by the Shareholders’ Meeting on April 30, 2025, and will remain in office until the approval of the financial statements as of 12/31/2027.

It is composed of:

Supervisory Body

The Shareholders’ Meeting of April 27, 2023 decided to appoint a Sole Auditor, Dr. Laura Genchi, who will remain in office until the approval of the financial statements as of 12/31/2025.

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is provided for by Article 35 of the current Statute, is composed of a minimum of 3 and up to a maximum of 9 members, and is responsible for“…evaluating the research carried out by the District and assessing the quality of the results achieved.”The members of the Steering Committee are appointed at the same Shareholders’ Meeting that appoints the Board of Directors and remain in office for the same period of time. At its first meeting, the Committee appoints a Chairperson from among its members, and it is currently composed of:

Research and development expertise and infrastructure

The District is a very lean non-profit organization (7 employees, including 4 researchers) and does not have its own research and development facilities: it also relies on the expertise and laboratories of its Members and is able to make the best use of their capacities and specificities, enhancing and integrating them with its own project management and administrative-management coordination skills in the implementation of projects and consulting activities.

UNI EN ISO 9001:2015

QUALITY CERTIFICATE

DiTNE has obtained the Quality Management System certification according to the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard for the following scope: “Technology transfer through the implementation of research projects/contracts; management of research projects/contracts and possible training projects even if not related to research projects; technical consulting in the energy and environmental fields” (IAF 34, 35).
